The Sankaku topic, which came out the day before you posted, labeled it and its manga as hentai. I have yet to watch the raw.
Anime is a commercial product, and skin or sex appeal has been used to sell products for many years. If a studio wants to market a topless DD-cup catgirl reciting Shakespeare while on a trampoline, I'll do my best to be there and advertise it. -me
