Lupin III
Arsene Lupin III is the grandson of the master thief Arsene Lupin. With his cohorts Daisuke Jigen and Goemon Ishikawa XIII and his love interest Fujiko Mine, he pulls off the greatest heists of all time while always escaping the grasp of Inspector Koichi Zenigata.

The second of Lupin’s TV series from the 1970’s, this series is quite repetitive but very enjoyable. The comic misadventures are often too ridiculous to believe (Loch Ness Monster?), but the characters are at their best and this is a must-watch for Lupin fans. If you missed it on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim, go ahead and BORROW a few episodes sometime… |

This was the first film directed by Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke) and is considered one of his funniest films and the best in the Lupin series. Follow master thief Lupin III as he chases after double-crossing counterfeiters to the secluded European duchy of Cagliostro, Lupin finds himself saving a damsel in distress and earning the ire of the mysterious Count of Cagliostro. Spielberg considers this one of the greatest adventure films of all time, so Darklord says BUY. |

This is one of the more mediocre Lupin movies. It has all the usual elements, and a kick-ass song, but it is just lifeless and uninteresting. The serious Lupin fan should BORROW, but the average anime fan might as well AVOID. |

This movie is quite ridiculous (Rasputin and Russian gold? Oh my!), but it is good clean fun. Lupin fans will enjoy, and they should BORROW. Everyone else will likely be terrified out of their minds, so they should AVOID. |
