Links

A small handful of links you may find useful. I don't do a whole lot of surfing, and don't want to go all link-happy here with an excess of sites you probably already know about.

Site contributors get their own pages listed here if they want(*), so if you've got one I don't know about, drop me a line.

Email me if you know of a link that you think would make a good addition to the page- no pay sites, hardcore sites considered on a case by case basis. Review sites containing multiple Gallery entries (or potential entries) encouraged.

Commercial Sites

The Right Stuf Anime: Anime and accessory etailer. Decent prices, and periodically has company-specific sales of 20-40% off retail price.

AnimeNation: Anime and accessory etailer. Prices usually not as good as TRSI, but they have a larger selection of items (including my new hobby of PVC statues), a trade-in program, a Netflix-like rental program, and a fairly active message board.

Bittorrent hubs

AnimeSuki: A large (but not comprehensive) site on which many fansub groups list the torrents for their current projects. At any given time I'm probably following 3 series from here.

Hongfire: BT forum where you can find subs, scans, and raws of anime and manga. Also includes artbooks, CG sets, games, music, etc. The stuff I usually get from here won't show up in the gallery. *winkwink*

Tokyo Toshokan: "BitTorrent Library for Japanese Media". The site contains raws for content-laden anime series that subbers appear to have dropped, as well as some fansub torrents that don't appear on Suki. Sorted only by date submitted, so you've gotta be good with their search function (or hope there aren't too many different ways to spell what you're after).

isoHunt: This site's got other stuff on it, but I use it to find some fansubs and DVD raws for AFG content. Like its name would suggest, some of these files are pretty damn big with less compression than you might be used to on the videos.

AniDB.net: Not quite a BT hub, but the database has hundreds of titles with a genre filter, listing ecchi titles that even I had no idea had been made. Title info section usually has ed2k hash available, so if you're willing to leave that program open a week or two while your connection comes and goes, that's where I got files like Papillion Rose, 1+2=Paradise, and a few other rares.

Download Managers for zipfiles

Download Accelerator Plus.

Flashget.

BitComet also works as a file manager.

If you've got a favorite browser plug-in, feel free.

Fan sites

Anime Tempy: A good review site to help you decide whether or not to buy that DVD just because there's some fanservice in it. Also contains a fanservice image section. (Not being updated)

Animetric.com: Big review site. Not fanservice oriented, but has many Gallery titles inside.

Being Upfront: A site devoted to those anime women who have cleavage that makes you say "Holy handfuls, Batman!" Not a dedicated image gallery, but it does contain a few images along with a brief synopsis of the featured anime.

Mouse Cage, The: Dr. Marilyn Fan has a page devoted to the series 'Mouse'.

Ranma 1/2 Lemon Stories Archive: St. Fan has done an incredible job of gathering an enormous number of Ranma 1/2 lemon and lime fanfiction stories in here- more than any of the more recognized fanfic archives on the Net.

The Ranma 1/2 Hentai Gallery: Before the New Ranmascan Project endeared him to many non-hentai Ranma fans, SHADE was well-known in the ecchi community for his Ranma fanart. Find it here with other artists', as well as a large collection of hentai Ranma dojin- both Japanese and SHADE's full-color, English-language commercial projects!

We are Mizuho!: The journal in this page follows the webmaster's (raw) anime watching. It has some images, and started me watching several series for the fanservice content. A big 'thank you!' to the visitor who pointed me in that direction.

Y.T.F.: The Yuka Takeuchi Fan's Severe Waste of Time. Image gallery of aforementioned girl, as well as a few other supporting females from anime and games. Also contains some shots of a game called 'Pachinko Sexy Reaction' and other stuff you might find interesting or amusing.
